Billbee bundles orders from shops and marketplaces and creates invoices and shipping labels. For standard cases it comes with many ready-made connections, but as soon as a partner is involved that is not on the list, such as a print-on-demand provider or a dropshipper, orders still have to be forwarded by hand. I develop custom integrations that connect Billbee with these systems, so nobody has to hand over orders manually.

- Forwarding orders: Orders from Billbee go automatically to print-on-demand providers, dropshippers or fulfillment partners.
- Confirming fulfillment: Shipping and tracking information from the partner comes back into Billbee automatically, so customers and marketplaces get their status.
- Syncing stock: Stock levels from suppliers or warehouse systems are kept up to date in Billbee.
- Reacting in real time: Via webhooks, the integration reacts directly to new or changed orders instead of only checking at fixed intervals.

Technology: how I work with Billbee
I access orders, items and stock via the Billbee API and use webhooks to react immediately to new or changed orders. Data is exchanged with the counterpart via REST, JSON, XML, CSV or FTP, depending on the system. We agree together, per data flow, which data leads in Billbee and which at the partner.

- Clarify data flows: Which data goes in which direction, and how are shipping methods and products mapped at the partner?
- Build and test: I build the integration and test it with real orders before it goes live.
- Go-live and operation: The integration runs in the background, runs are logged, and I implement process changes afterwards.

The integration fetches shipping and tracking information from the partner and enters it in Billbee. From there it reaches customers and marketplaces as usual.
