Product creation from manufacturer data Stock sync Order transfer Shop-to-shop sync ERP integration

WooCommerce is a flexible shop system built on WordPress, but creating products, maintaining stock and passing on orders quickly becomes manual work as the range grows. I develop custom integrations that connect WooCommerce with manufacturers, suppliers, ERP systems, marketplaces and other shops, without anyone retyping data or maintaining stock twice.

What I build for WooCommerce

  • Creating products from manufacturer data: Tabular product data from manufacturers or wholesalers is read in automatically, and products are created and kept up to date in WooCommerce.
  • Syncing stock: Stock data from suppliers or from the warehouse is transferred to the shop continuously.
  • Transferring orders: Orders from WooCommerce go automatically to the ERP, supplier or fulfillment partner, and status and shipping come back.
  • Syncing prices: Price changes from manufacturer data or the ERP arrive in the shop automatically.
  • Syncing between shops: Products, stock and prices can be kept in sync between WooCommerce and other shop systems.
  • Connecting ERP and marketplaces: With WooCommerce as the shop, ERP systems and marketplaces can be connected.

Excerpt from my WooCommerce projects

  • Manufacturer data to WooCommerce: Product creation and updates from a manufacturer’s tabular product data, complemented by a continuous stock sync. Data is exchanged via FTP.
  • Shop-to-shop with Shopify: Products are retrieved from Shopify and created in WooCommerce, and stock and prices are synced continuously.

This is an excerpt from my completed projects, not a complete list of my services. WooCommerce offers an extensive REST interface, and whatever else you need, I build individually. If your project does not appear here, just get in touch.

Ready-made plugin or custom integration?

For many inventory systems and marketplaces there are ready-made WooCommerce plugins. They are a good choice if your process follows the standard. The comparison shows when a custom integration fits better:

Technology: how I work with WooCommerce

I access products, stock and orders via WooCommerce’s REST interface. As a rule, the integration needs no additional plugins in the shop. Data is exchanged with the counterpart via REST, JSON, XML, CSV or FTP, depending on the system. We agree together, per data flow, which data leads in the shop and which at the counterpart.

Process

  1. Clarify data flows: Which data goes in which direction, in what format does the manufacturer deliver, which special cases are there?
  2. Build and test: I build the integration and test it with real data before it goes live.
  3. Go-live and operation: The integration runs in the background, runs are logged, and I implement process changes afterwards.

Every project is different, so you receive an individual quote after we have agreed the details.

Frequently asked questions

Can products be created automatically from manufacturer data?

Yes. Manufacturer data, for example as a table via FTP, is read in automatically. Products are created in WooCommerce and updated when something changes, together with a continuous stock sync.

Do I need a plugin in WooCommerce for the integration?

As a rule, no. The integration uses WooCommerce’s REST interface, so you do not have to install and maintain an additional extension in the shop.

Can I connect WooCommerce to my ERP or marketplaces?

Yes. WooCommerce can be connected to ERP systems such as weclapp or JTL and to marketplaces, via Tradebyte or directly.

Can several shops be kept in sync?

Yes. Products, stock and prices can be synced between WooCommerce and other shop systems.
