Xentral is a cloud-based ERP for order processing, inventory and accounting, but it only pays off once orders and stock levels flow automatically between Xentral and your sales channels. I develop custom integrations that connect shops and marketplaces with Xentral, without anyone retyping data or maintaining stock twice.
What I build for Xentral
- Creating orders as sales orders: New orders from the shop or a marketplace arrive in Xentral as a sales order, including addresses, line items and shipping method.
- Syncing stock: Stock levels from Xentral are transferred to your sales channels continuously, so you never sell more than you can deliver.
- Creating and updating items: New items and changes to items, prices and product data are kept in sync between Xentral and the connected systems.
- Syncing documents and invoices: Invoices and other documents are made available to the shop, the customer or your accounting.
- Confirming shipping: Once goods are delivered in Xentral, shipping and tracking information goes back automatically to the shop or marketplace.
- Connecting marketplaces: With Xentral as the leading system, you sell via Amazon, Tradebyte and further marketplaces.
Excerpt from my Xentral projects
- Amazon Vendor and Xentral: An integration of the Amazon Vendor API with Xentral. Orders from Amazon are transferred to Xentral, confirmations for the orders go back to Amazon, and various Amazon reports are retrieved automatically.
This is an excerpt from my completed projects, not a complete list of my services. Xentral offers its own interface for orders, items and stock, and whatever else you need, I build individually. If your project does not appear here, just get in touch.
Ready-made connector or custom integration?
For common shop systems and marketplaces there are ready-made Xentral connections. They cover the standard case. Whether that is enough for you, the comparison shows:
| Ready-made connector | Custom integration | |
|---|---|---|
| Fits if | Your process follows the standard | Your process deviates or special channels such as Amazon Vendor are involved |
| Customization | Within the settings | Fully adaptable |
| Counterpart | Only systems supported by the connector | Any system with an API or file interface |
| Several shops or marketplaces on one Xentral | Limited, depending on the connector | Possible |
| Costs | Ongoing license or subscription fees | One-time development, running costs usually lower |
Technology: how I work with Xentral
I access orders, items, stock and documents via the Xentral API. Data is exchanged with the counterpart via REST, JSON, XML, CSV or FTP, depending on the system. We agree together, per data flow, which data leads in Xentral and which in the shop or on the marketplace.
Process
- Clarify data flows: Which data goes in which direction, and how are customers, payment methods and shipping methods mapped?
- Build and test: I build the integration and test it with real orders before it goes live.
- Go-live and operation: The integration runs in the background, runs are logged, and I implement process changes afterwards.
Every project is different, so you receive an individual quote after we have agreed the details.
Frequently asked questions
Which systems do you connect to Xentral?
Shop systems such as Shopify, Shopware or plentyONE, and marketplaces such as Amazon, via Tradebyte or directly. I have already connected Xentral with Amazon Vendor.
Can Xentral be the leading system?
Yes. Which system acts as the leading system is decided individually per data flow.
Can Amazon Vendor be connected to Xentral?
Yes, I have done this: orders arrive in Xentral from Amazon and are confirmed back, and Amazon reports are retrieved. What to watch out for with Vendor in detail, we clarify in an initial call.
Do I need a Xentral add-on module for the integration?
The integration uses Xentral’s API. Which modules or access you need for it, we clarify in an initial call based on your Xentral contract.
